The biotechnologische Studenteninitiative e.V. is organising a big biotech & life science job fair in Bochum, Germany.
Exhibitors like Qiagen, Mylteni Biotech, Provadis Professionals, KWS SAAT, and Evonik have also expressed their interest in international employees.
The event will take place at the Ruhr University Bochum from 10.00 to 17.00 on the 23rd October. Entrance is free.
You can register for additional activities like application photo-shooting (“Bewerbungsfotoshooting”) , CV check (“Bewerbungsmappencheck”) and simulated info stand talks (“Simulation eines Standgespraechs”).

Travel via plane:
There are two airports nearby Bochum, the Ryanair airport Düsseldorf Weeze and the international Airport Düsseldorf for most other Airlines.
From Düsseldorf Weeze, you can take a bus to the city of Essen (Pre-reservation is necessary, see http://www.airport-shuttle-express.com/ASE-E/html/reservation.html ) From Essen main train station (in German: Hauptbahnhof, Hbf) you can take the S1 train (direction Dortmund Hbf) to get to Bochum Hbf.
From Düsseldorf international airport, you take the regional train (R-Bahn) either directly to Bochum Hbf or to Duisburg Hbf, where you can switch to a S1 train (direction Dortmund Hbf)

When you have arrived at Bochum Hbf, you can take a subway (U-Bahn in German) U35, direction “Bochum Hustadt” and you get off at “Bochum Ruhr-Universität”
