The Young European Biotech Network (YEBN) was founded as a non-profit organization in December 2002 in Bertinoro (Italy) by young researchers and student organizations active in several European countries. In November 2015, YEBN was (re-)founded as YEBN e.V. (registered association) in Germany. Today, YEBN aims to give a platform for information exchange and international cooperation to associations of all sizes in all European countries. The main purpose of YEBN is to promote Biotechnology and Life Sciences and careers of young life scientists in Europe. Join us to get useful information about how associations and networking can enrich career pathways for young scientists, learn about career events and job offers all over Europe and the best get to meet inspiring people.
Join YEBN, we are always growing!
YEBN consists of national organizations, called Institutional Members (IMs), as well as individual members. We also have a great number of Partners throughout Europe. This means that you can also join YEBN’s team as an individual person if you are not a member of a Biotech or Life Science organization in your country.
To become an individual member, just register through the form below, write us (firstname.lastname@example.org) or join a Biotech / Life Science organization which is already a YEBN member and thus automatically become a YEBN member. In case you want to join with your association as an IM, we encourage you to write us an e-mail (email@example.com) with an introduction of your association’s structure and aims.
And don’t forget to sign up for our newsletter as well as to join us on LinkedIn and Facebook in case you want to become a part of YEBN and be informed about career events, conferences and job opportunities.
We also encourage young life scientists to start new local and national organizations all over Europe. In case you need help with that, don’t hesitate to contact us.
